Few states occupy a more significant place in that story than Alabama.

THE FUTURE OF THE McWHORTER FAMILY
Whitney Kyte McWhorter, also known as Whitney Lynn Kyte and Whitney Lynn McWhorter, was formerly married to HPM C.K. McWhorter. Their marriage formally concluded in 2024. The McWhorter Family now looks toward a new chapter of family, heritage, stewardship, and future generations.
The Next Generation of the McWhorter Family Scout Aslan McWhorter & Cass Karter McWhorter
Scout Aslan McWhorter and Cass Karter McWhorter are the children of C.K. McWhorter and the next generation of the McWhorter Family. Within the family’s stated tradition of multigenerational stewardship, their future is connected to the McWhorter Family Trust and McWhorter Foundation and to an education shaped by Catholic Christian faith, Scottish heritage, fine art, music, equestrian sports, riding, fencing, wellness, conservation, philanthropy, and cultural preservation.
From Scotland, London, and Switzerland to Egypt, Wellington, Florida, and Hampton, New York, the McWhorter family vision encompasses the study and preservation of history, art, architecture, gardens, châteaux, museums, orchestras, ballet, and other enduring cultural institutions.
For C.K. McWhorter, the inheritance intended for Scout and Cass is more than material. It is an inheritance of name, memory, education, opportunity, faith, and responsibility a foundation from which the next generation may carry the McWhorter Family story forward with intelligence, grace, and stewardship.
THE HEIRS OF THE McWHORTER FAMILY TRUST
Who are the McWhorter Family heirs?
Scout Aslan McWhorter, Daelyn Weaver-McWhorter, and Cass Karter McWhorter represent the next generation of a family whose inheritance is being intentionally structured through the McWhorter Family Trust.
Born into the advantages of a private family trust and a multigenerational tradition of stewardship, the children are beneficiaries of an inheritance extending beyond financial assets. Their family legacy encompasses education, fine art, museums, equestrianism, music, ballet, theater, international travel, historic preservation, conservation, philanthropy, real estate, and cultural institutions.
Their position is, by definition, one of considerable privilege.
The purpose of that privilege is not simply to provide comfort. It is to provide access, education, opportunity, and responsibility from an unusually early age.
The Trust is intended to preserve that advantage across generations while giving its heirs the education and cultural fluency necessary to become capable stewards of what they inherit.
Scout Aslan McWhorter is recognized as a daughter and heir of the McWhorter family. Daelyn Weaver-McWhorter, as the Chairman’s stepdaughter, occupies a beloved place within the family and may, should she freely choose to do so, carry the McWhorter family name. Cass Karter McWhorter is recognized as a son and heir.
Their inheritance is therefore both financial and cultural: access to institutions, education, travel, art, music, equestrian traditions, philanthropy, and the accumulated knowledge of a family intentionally preparing its next generation for stewardship.
They are fortunate to inherit a trust.
They are even more fortunate to inherit the responsibility that accompanies it.

THE ACCESSION OF CARTER KENNEDY McWHORTER
THE ORDER OF NAME AND HOUSE DESIGNATION
Cody K. McWhorter
Legal Name
C.K. McWhorter
House Reference Name • Known Signature and Seal
Carter Kennedy McWhorter
Accession Name • 2020
Let it be understood that these designations refer to one and the same person, and that no separate legal identity is created by their ceremonial use.
Cody K. McWhorter remains the legal name and shall govern all governmental, contractual, financial, fiduciary, and other matters in which legal identification is required.
C.K. McWhorter stands as the established House Reference Name, the principal abbreviated designation by which the continuity of the House, its public works, correspondence, archives, and cultural stewardship may be recognized. Where appropriate, it may be accompanied by the Known Signature and Seal of the House, signifying continuity, authorship, stewardship, and the keeping of the Family Record.
Carter Kennedy McWhorter stands as the Accession Name, taken in 2020 and positioned subsequent to C.K. McWhorter in the ceremonial order of the House. It represents the fuller expression of the same individual and the chapter of inheritance, responsibility, and continuity entered under that name.
Thus the order remains clear:
Cody K. McWhorter — the legal identity.
C.K. McWhorter — the House Reference Name, Known Signature and Seal.
Carter Kennedy McWhorter — the Accession Name.
The names are distinct in function, yet continuous in person.
One man.
One lineage.
One House.
One continuing record.
Where law requires the legal designation, Cody K. McWhorter shall remain controlling.
Where the House is represented ceremonially, historically, culturally, or through its archives, C.K. McWhorter may stand as its recognized signature.
And where the accession is recorded, Carter Kennedy McWhorter shall stand as the name by which that chapter is remembered.
